Hi to all crew members , my name is Randall Wilson ,(marine artist) i have been commissioned by TRUMPETER MODEL Co. of China, to do a painting of USS MISSOURI at anchour in Tokyo Bay during the surrender ceremony for the box top of there NEW plastic kit in 1/200 scale ( I also did the box art for USS ARIZONA ).My question is , which flag was flown on the prow (bow) ? some articals say the Union Jack of Great Briton, yet i have no photo evidence ,all my pic show the US Flag ? ...can any one shed some light on this matter ,as i would like to be very accurate with this painting. Many thanks to all Randall Wilson www.navart.com.au
